Files Are Off To The Printer For Sampling!

We promised an update and you're getting one! Time to update everyone with what is going on and and hope you're all excited to receieve the game as quickly as possible!
Okay first things first...
The sample is underway!
We sent the files to the the printer to start getting everything; admittedly what took them the most time was figuring out how to put together the Persona cards with the special wheel tracker; the second was getting the anodized die just right! All in all it took some time but while the partners handled manufacturing; Doug was working on the art! Luckily we're right on time with each other! Doug decided to completely revamp some of the old card art to match with the brilliance of the new cards. Everyone is on for a treat with that one. The Print and Play should be ready in the next couple of weeks for that will give Doug to make any last minute changes to the art files while the sample is being manufactured and sent over to the states for all of us to review and play test one last final time before we click the print button (which we expect to be the last week of September) so we're pretty much just days away!

Hello humans (presumably)!
First off, I know I have not graced you all with an update in a little bit, but rest assured that I am not resting on my laurels. Truth be told I don't even have any laurels. I don't even own any trees. This past month has simply been a lot of grinding work in regards to Killbots and there's not much fun to pack into an update, which is probably why I'm fluffing it a bit with tree jokes. Here's what's up:
Backerkit: We are putting together a backerkit page where you can add bonus items to your pledge, including many of the add-ons featured in the pledge tiers. This will be complete in the next week or two (It's mostly ready now but we're waiting on a few prices of things from the factory)
New core game cards: They're done. Wanna see them? You will... at a later date! Something tells me I'll need something else to update you with in a few weeks to sate your hunger. But these cards mean that all the art is done, so I'm getting everything together to print a sample
Art update: I am my worst critic (I hope) and it has been over 2 years since I first set out to create Killbots. I don't know if any of the artists out there have loooked back fondly on art they did 2 years ago, but I have been revising EACH AND EVERY card in the deck to make sure they are good enough for both myself and for all the wonderful people out there online whose enthusiasm is helping make it a reality.

Hello backers! Just popping in to let you know a few things:
First off: I haven't forgotten about you! I've been busy moving to a new city, but now that everything is squared away I am hard at work getting Killbots ready for production. That includes creating new cards (36 total when you include the expansion pack and Persona cards) I'm also going over all the previously made cards and upping the quality of the artwork since it's been over a year since most of these cards were made and I'm my worst critic. In addition, there are a lot of elements to square away as far as package design, the game's manual, and manufacturing details for things like dice, miniatures, stuffed animals, etc. August is going to be a busy month!
Secondly: The survey has not been sent out yet. Rest assured that I will announce it HERE when that happens so you all get a lovely email notification.
Thirdly: I am trying to do what I must to get a print and play version available to all the backers you donated at or above the "Print and Play" level. My goal is beginning of September, barring any major roadblocks. It may possibly be earlier, but again I shall let you know HERE.
As a treat to all my backers, here's a sneak peak at some fresh artwork for a new card, which will appear in the Killbots base game and which I have titled "Inter-dimensional Grenade". Talk to you all later!

Metal. It's what robots are made of.
It is also what the newly upgraded 8-sided die included in every physical copy of Killbots is made of. Engraved metal, and designed specifically to decide the fate of you, the player. It's got a real satisfying heft to it, too.
I've also been getting multiple requests for extra dice as an add-on. Because of the cost of manufacturing these truly awesome dice (They'll be worth it, trust me) it is only financially possible to offer extra dice as an add-on in increments of 5 dice. This Dice 5 pack will be yours for $25 added on to your pledge, and will leave you with enough dice for 6 people to play Killbots together and each covet their own shiny metal octohedron.
