Killbots Shall Now Be Known As...

FOR SCIENCE! AND LEGAL REASONS!

As I discussed previously, our legalbots alerted us to a trademark dispute (the original name sounding too similar to someone else's trademarked name.) After quite some deliberation and many possible new names, we have decided on KILLBOTS, INC. It's a small change, but those are exactly the kind of changes that happen when you're as close to the finish line as we are.

Well not really. But we DID find a bot building this beauty outside. Aren't they sweet  together? You know sometimes life's not a smooth ride, but we can ALL still smile at a Mechanical Mechanic and his Dino. They're excited about some movie with computer animated dinosaurs, but I don't think they know what that means...

What we're all excited about is our production time, the estimate for which got cut in half in a recent conversation with the manufacturer!

Did you like that well crafted poem from the Bots? For these robots, appreciation is the highest form of flattery! 

We have all just wanted to express how much your support means to the Bots and our human team.

 I know that there have not been as many updates as everyone would like and for that I am sorry. Between wrangling bots, wanting to get you all the most accurate delivery information, cleaning up after the clockwork unicorn, and crafting (as we speak) a new name for Killbots; things have slipped through the cracks.

Yes, you skimmed that correctly! Killbots is changing names. The finalized new  -      and necessary - name change is still being calculated. Once we know more, we will post an update. 

We're also going to put our best big stompy metal foot forward and post more frequently - once a week-ish to be precise.

Good news about Killbots!

Hi everyone,

Here's the latest on that very intriguing card game you helped create. Killbots!

Firstly, here's a picture of the design for the parts die. While I did find some of the options for dice materials very appealing, I decided to keep consistent with the theme of the game. Metal dice are also cool. That's just science. Fact.

This is just a 3D rendering, but it'll be real soon enough. How soon? Funny you should ask (and that I can hear you). As of this afternoon we have arrived at final price quotes with our manufacturer and Killbots will be going into production within the next couple of weeks!

Also, I will be uploading an updated version of the print and play on Monday for those of you who wish to experience the full version of the game that way, or if you simply want a look before the real thing gets shipped out.

As always, I thank you for your patience and your support during our crazy journey.
